The autoflex maX is a matrix-assisted laser desorption ionisation (MALDI) with tandem Time-of-Flight (TOF/TOF) mass spectrometer from Bruker. MALDI-TOF is a fast and easy to set up technique to analyse complex samples. MALDI is a soft ionisation technique using a laser to desorb the sample co-crystallised with a matrix on a plate.

It can be used for the following applications:  

• Molecular weight determination (mAbs, ADCs, oligonucleotides, peptides, vaccines)
• N and O-glycan profiling and peptide mapping (mAbs)
• Analysis of heterogeneous compounds (e.g. PEGylated proteins, polymers)
