ELISpot
The AID (Autoimmun Diagnostika) MultiSpot reader is a multifunctional imaging device designed for the analysis of enzymatic and fluorescent (FluoroSpot) based ELISpot assays. The device features a high-resolution CCD camera coupled with an automated microscope with multiple objectives, capable of being used with either 96 or 384-well plates.
The unit is controlled with a 21 CFR part 11 compliant software.
The optical design allows for the simultaneous measurement of multiple cytokine secretions at the single-cell level (FluoroSpot assay).
The MultiSpot reader can be used in many research fields such as vaccine development, cancer, allergies, and immune cell characterisation.
ELISpot/FluoroSpot can address the following questions:
-
antigen-specific cytokine responses
-
antibody-specific secreting cells
-
immunomonitoring (vaccine immunogenicity)
-
cytotoxic T-cell activity (Granzyme B, IFN-γγ and Perforin released by T cells)
